DRONEWOLF

Summer Program

The DRONEWOLF summer program is a free one-week STEM summer camp for teens from Blue Star and Gold Star families.

Visit Incredible Places

During DRONEWOLF, students have the opportunity to visit companies, research institutes, and other incredible events. Last year, they went to places like Saildrone, the Florida Institute of Oceanography, the Western Flyer Research Vessel, Vu Networks, Florida International University Forensics, Haddy Advanced Manufacturing, and VideoRay.

Compete in Team

Challenges

Every year, DRONEWOLF students compete in a team-based challenge. Last year’s challenge was a solid-state rocket design and launch competition guided by a Blue Origin engineer. Three teams of students combined 3D CAD design, 3D printing, rocketry parts, and aerodynamic simulation through OpenRocket to create functioning rockets shooting far into the sky!
