SOFWOLF and Patriot Foundation Expand Partnership to Empower Military Youth Through Robotics and STEM Education
SOFWOLF, a research and education institute dedicated to advancing opportunities for military youth in Machine Learning, Automation, Robotics, and Space (MARS), has once again partnered with the Patriot Foundation to fund its summer program. This initiative provides underserved students with accredited engineering technology skills and leadership development to prepare them for careers in STEM.
Hosted at the Maritime and Defense Hub in Tampa Bay, SOFWOLF combines hands-on robotics training with real-world mission scenarios. Designed by U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Peace Corps veterans, students tackle emergency responder challenges using drones and robotics systems while receiving mentorship from engineers, academics, and Industry 5.0 leaders.
“The Patriot Foundation is proud to continue its annual support of SOFWOLF’s mission,” said Heather Dodgins, Patriot Foundation President. “This program aligns with our commitment to providing military families and their children with educational opportunities that make a lasting impact.”
About SOFWOLF SOFWOLF empowers military youth with accredited STEM education and experiential learning. By integrating robotics into first responder scenarios, SOFWOLF bridges the gap between theory and practical application.
